This Mid-Century Modern extension dining table was designed by the loved American designer Paul McCobb. The table is part of his Perimeter furniture line which was manufactured by Winchendon Furniture Company in Winchendon, MA. The model is number 2628 and is referred to as the "boat-shaped dining table" This beech wood table is newly restored in a black lacquered finish. It features the boat shaped top, tapered legs and stretcher rails between the legs that gives it a more architectural look. The table comes with two 15" inch leaves that expands the table from 66" to 96". The table retains the original label stating the line, designer, and manufacturer, located on the underside of the table.
