This pair of Scandinavian Modern teak lounge chairs were designed in the early 1960s by Ib Kofod-Larsen for the furniture manufacturer Selig famous for importing Danish Modern designs like that of Kofod-Larsen and others to the United States. The chairs feature nicely grained teak frames with sleek sculpted arms at 21" height and backrests with uniquely designed wide paddle slats. The chair cushions are newly upholstered in a denim blue chenille tweed segmented with buttons. New support straps reside beneath the seat. The Selig manufacturer's mark remains intact. The clean classic Danish design of these chairs bring an air of casual sophistication to any setting.
The chairs are newly upholstered and refinished.
