This Mid-Century Modern side accent chair was designed by interior and furniture designer Bertha Schaefer and manufactured by M. Singer & Sons, circa 1950's. This sleek and sexy chair has an organic sculptural walnut frame with demi-arms and legs connecting in a wishbone form. The chair seat is newly upholstered in a marigold with flecks of white woven blend making it a standout from all angles.
Bertha Schaeffer designed for M. Singer & Sons from 1950 - 1961. During her time there she created an Italian design inspired collection with four Italian designers including Gio Ponti and Ico Parisi.
