This long sleek Mid-century Modern gondola sofa daybed circa 1960s was made in the style of the American designer Adrian Pearsall. The sofa is wonderfully long, low and deep with upturned edges giving it the shape of a gondola. It's finished with tapered dark wood legs capped with brass sabots, contoured back cushion and a concentric black wrought iron frame in the back for support. The sofa is newly upholstered in a yellow tweed tufted with custom leather ties. As a 102" wide daybed it is comfortable for sleeping.
