This sculptural Mid-Century Modern armchair was manufactured by the Boling Chair Company circa mid-twentieth century. With it's carved walnut frame and curvaceous profile, the chair is very much in the style of designer Adrian Pearsall. The chair features a newly upholstered seat and back in blue tweed with armrests and back clad in contrasting black vinyl. These elements play well with the rich walnut tone of the frame making it a handsome chair for use in any design application.
The Boling Chair Company of North Carolina was a prominent furniture maker founded in the early 1900s and became renowned for its bentwood and Mid-Century Modern designs.
Newly upholstered and refinished.
