This pair of American Mid-Century Modern armchairs by the W. H. Gunlocke Chair Co. feature newly finished solid walnut frames and joinery with a beautiful wood grain, tapered legs and curved stretchers around the legs. Gunlocke has a rich history, founded in 1902, it became a maker known for high-quality wood office chairs, often found in libraries, courthouses, and executive offices. Gunlocke used the steam bend method to give these chairs beautiful curved lines. The chairs retain the original makers mark with the year they were made. The arm height is 25.5".
