This chic Scandinavian Modern rosewood dry bar set was manufactured by the Danish furniture company Dyrlund circa the 1960s. The set features a dry bar cabinet that was designed by Erik Buch and bar stools designed by Knud Bent both for Dyrlund. The bar cabinet has been commonly described as the boomerang bar cabinet due to its semi-circle curved front with curved chrome-plated steel footrest. The front facade is a clean sophisticated bar for entertaining. The magic happens in the back with a straight extension below the top, creating the perfect counter space at 33" ht for making your favorite cocktails. It offers plenty of storage with seven bottle slots, two drawers with unique pivoting circular steel handles and two sliding doors for storing larger items. The bar top, counter space and bottle slots are protected by black formica tops. The dry bar cabinet retains the original Dyrlund maker's mark.
The pair of bar stools designed by Knud Bent feature rosewood frames and newly upholstered leather seats. The stools are extremely eye-catching with their clean lines, curved details, and a distinct Y-shaped backrest. The four legs taper slightly and are connected by stretchers for durability.
Newly upholstered and refinished.
