This stunning, modernist, patchwork burl, credenza by Paul Evans for his Cityscape series for Directional features a high sheen laminate finish with 48" wide, gunmetal steel center doors and two 16" wide side drawers on either side edged in black laminate. The credenza is an office configuration that can hold file folders but works equally as well as a dining room sideboard or living room credenza. The Cityscape series created a dialogue between exterior and interior structures. Paul Evans is widely considered to be one of the greatest studio furniture makers of the 20th century and his work a catalyst for the art furniture movement.

Overall good presentable condition. Some loss of veneer as shown to edges, steel veneer is slightly wrinkled on the edge of center cabinet and veneer is slightly lifted in a few places.
