This stunning Mid-Century Modern coffee table was designed by Leon Rosen circa 1970s for the Pace Collection. It features four brushed brass 5" diameter column legs attached to a 3/4" thick glass table top with bullnose edge. The brass legs attach to the glass with brass caps as shown. Standing at a perfect height of 16" and measuring 40" square, this table is a study in proportion and balance. It allows for a large table surface that doesn't take up visual space while creating impact with a bold design statement.
Leon Rosen with his brother Irving Rosen founded the Pace Collection in New York City in 1960. Pace furniture had a signature style of timeless luxury that was the furniture destination for NYC's elite clientele for four decades.
Good original condition. The glass is in very good condition. Nice patina on the brass legs. Some scratches on the brass caps.
