This stunning antique Late-Victorian Eastlake standing mirror and room divider dates to the late 19th century. The divider consists of three black lacquered mahogany panels with each panel having a standing mirror on one side and natural tan caning on the other. The panels are hinged to two vertical pivot poles that allow the range of movement. The frame of the mirrored side is adorned with hand-carved floral and vegetal patterns as well as carved finials and feet, all ornamentation consistent with the Eastlake style. There is a patinated gold frame around the mirrors as well. This decorative and functional piece is rich in history and is a great addition to any decor.
The mirrors are in good condition. The mahogany frame has been refinished. The gold trim is in original patinated condition.
