This early 20th-century industrial drafting table was manufactured by Keuffel & Esser circa the early 1900s. The table features an expansive workspace surface at 58.5" w x 37.75" d crafted from light pine wood finished in a warm tone while retaining some original patina. The top is anchored by a heavy-duty, double-pedestal cast-iron base that provides outstanding stability in a striking profile. The base has been restored in a gunmetal finish. The height is controlled by a rack and pinion mechanism with a center wheel adjustment that secures on both sides from 31" - 42" height. The top tilts from vertical drafting angle to almost flat horizontal.
