This antique, industrial, brushed steel apothecary vitrine cabinet was manufactured by Clark & Roberts of Indianapolis, Indiana, dating back to the turn of the 20th century. The cabinet features a heavy gauge steel frame with cabriole legs that has been meticulously stripped of historical paint layers both inside and out to expose the raw, organic beauty of the underlying metal. The vitrine case itself measures 26" w x 16.5" d x 41.25" ht. The shelf underneath the vitrine case provides additional storage and display. There is original beveled glass on 3 sides and added mirror backing inside the cabinet. The two interior glass shelves are height adjustable. The cabinet's original hardware door latch and beautifully etched original double combination lock are in working condition. The Clark & Roberts manufacturers plate is present on the top frame.
