This early 20th century, large, industrial, chalkboard dates to the 1930s. The heavy black slate stone chalkboard is framed in a thick stained oak wood border with a painted black interior border. This vintage schoolhouse board has wonderful character and patina throughout, can be used vertically or horizontally and looks great leaning. The chalkboard is shown in two pictures resting on an oak artist easel which is sold separately.
Sturdy solid condition. The outer oak frame has been refinished.
