TThis industrial, double-wide, brushed steel, medical apothecary display cabinet is circa the early 1940s. The cabinet features a brushed steel exterior and interior with three sides of upper glass display with glass partition in the middle. There are 4 shelves shown but the cabinet includes 6 original blown glass shelves with rounded bullnose edges that are height adjustable. For security, the doors come equipped with independent working locks with individual keys for each side. The lower cabinet portion houses an expanded closed-drawer configuration with six deep, flush-fitting steel drawers that stand on a solid steel block base. The cabinet is fitted with highly stylish, asymmetrical streamlined Art Deco chrome pulls. Stripped entirely to its bare metal the cabinet reveals a rich variegated patina showcasing the natural factory weld grinds and dark heat markings along the structural seams.
Refinished brushed steel exterior and interior. Glass is intact. Glass shelves are original.
