This iconic oval Tulip pedestal table dates to the 1960s and was designed by the famous Finnish designer Eero Saarinen for Knoll. The base resembles a tulip flower or a stemmed wineglass and was intended to create peaceful interiors in which the base of the furnishings did not obstruct viewing lines. The base, which is unmarked and cannot be authenticated Knoll, is cast aluminum enameled white and the marked Knoll tabletop is white Carrara marble with a beautiful grey vein. This works as a large dining or conference table to seat 6 people comfortably.
Overall very good condition.
