Mid-Century Modern, two-tiered, walnut, side table was manufactured by Lane Furniture in the 1960s and was part of Lane's Rhythm Collection. The Lane Brochure described its Rhythm collection as being "a picture of clean, fluent lines and tastefully restrained elegance in contemporary styling.” This side table, that can also be used as a coffee table, is all those things. The legs and rails are softly sculpted in walnut heartwood which provides a strong support structure for the table frame. The top is indented and made from a lighter shade of walnut. The lower tier provides storage space and is excellent for displaying books or other decorative items.
Newly finished.
