Gorgeous pair of mid-century modern, barrel club chairs designed by the Boston designer and architect Lawrence "Larry" Peabody for Richardson Nemschoff features stylized walnut bases with rounded backs and sloping arms for an easy, elegant style that fits any interior. The chairs are refinished and newly upholstered in luxurious, navy blue bouclé - a nod to Peabody's Navy service before opening his design firm Lawrence Peabody Associates in 1955. While most of his furniture designs were manufactured by Richardson Nemschoff, furniture companies today, such as Knoll and Craft Associates, have acquired the rights to make reproductions of his most iconic designs.
