Pair of art deco, industrial "health chairs" by Herman Sperlich for Ironrite feature bent steel frames with plywood seats and backs. Made as a work chair for the Ironrite Ironer Co. in Detroit, Michigan, this chair gained prominence in the design world when it was added to the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) and was included in their Introduction To Twentieth Century Design in 1959. Another pair available in all steel.
