Antique, late 19th century, ratchet clacker noisemaker or percussive instrument is also referred to as a gragger. Operating on the principle of the ratchet device, a gearwheel and a stiff board is mounted on a handle, which rotates freely. The ratchet comes with wall mounting display brackets.
