This set of six Scandinavian Modern dining chairs were manufactured by the Swedish furniture company Dux circa 1960s. These chairs have also been attributed to the popular Danish-American designer Jens Risom but this set bears no markings. The chairs feature solid walnut frames with sleek lines, classic caned backrest panels accented with newly upholstered seats in a dijon yellow segmented chevron fabric. The chairs are newly refinished and reupholstered. The chairs are newly restored in a deeper rosewood finish that goes well with the Kai Kristiansen dining table shown that is listed separately here.
